Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using ApplyPilot ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of service
ApplyPilot is a job application tracking tool that combines a Kanban board with AI-powered features including resume analysis, resume tailoring, cover letter generation, and interview preparation. AI features are powered by the Anthropic Claude API.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You may not share your account with others.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that are used for abusive, fraudulent, or unlawful purposes.
4. Plans and payments
ApplyPilot offers a free plan and a paid Pro plan. Pricing is listed on the pricing page. Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
You may cancel your subscription at any time via Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API in ways that degrade performance for others
- Upload malicious files or content
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service
6. AI-generated content
AI features generate suggestions based on your resume and job descriptions. These suggestions are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and deciding whether to use any AI-generated content before submitting it to employers.
ApplyPilot is an assistive tool — it does not apply to jobs on your behalf without your explicit action.
7. Your content
You retain ownership of all content you upload (resumes, job descriptions, notes). By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to provide the features you request. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for any purpose beyond operating the Service.
8. Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We will notify paid users by email before any material changes that affect their subscription.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ApplyPilot and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost job opportunities or reliance on AI-generated content. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
